Downtown Vicksburg

Vicksburg sits where the Mighty Mississippi meets the Yazoo River. It was different during the Civil War. Vicksburg sat directly on the Mississippi. But in 1876, due to silt deposits and flooding, the Mississippi changed it's course.
Paddlewheels make Vicksburg one of it's stops...and just happened to be at port when we were there.
The riverfront is welcoming.
Finally, lunch at a historic house from the 1800's, Marble Hill.
